Queen Johanna

As an artist i find that i get inspired sometimes from random things. I looked at this photo of my muse Johanna, and my first thought was "Queen"!!!! So i broke out my pencil and paper, and did the sketch above, depicting Johanna as the Queen of Los Angeles.

Trans Lives Matter, Stop The Violence

My muse, and friend Johanna recently participated in an event/protest that stood to educate and inform the public about the violence and murder against trans-women all over the USA. I wouldn't be able to participate in the event, but i am proud to use this blog as a way to shed some light on it. Please check out the website of the TransLatin@ Coalition to find out how to help educate, and stop the violence. Their site is HERE and can help steer where you can go to help the trans community.

Battle for Transgender Rights in Maryland

i have a wonderful FB friend by the name of Katherine Sasha Mowen. Because of a recent event at a local Maryland club she is taking her battle for transgender rights to the court! I hope that everyone and anyone will be eager to help in supporting her.  Check out her GoFund page HERE!

Here is a brief explanation from Sasha's GoFund page...

On March 14th I went to a concert at a local public Chain Cafe/Pub/Bar in Hagerstown, MD.  As a proud transgender woman in the process of transitioning, I went to use the ladies where I gender identify- and was yelled at and confronted by the male manager in the most unprofessional way.  I was forced to use the mensroom all night long, where I had to put up with Harassment and if not for friends who were there almost sexual assault and violence. The manager had the nerve to say, he was doing this for the safety of his customers but what about mine?  In fact when trying to talk to him and advise that there is a new law in the books in MD regarding this, he just turned his back and walked away from me.  However, thanks to my friends and despite some nasty names I got called, threats thrown my way and having to be escorted to the restroom all night long like a child- I tried to make the best of a bad situation.  When I tried to reach out to them over the phone and online, I got the same attitude from them.  In fact many of my friends and people who were there that witnessed this activity posted comments on their Facebook page, which they have since promptly deleted (I have screenshots however).  As a result, I wrote to their corporate offices and the owner of the local establishment- and despite a very blase statement of "we'll look into it", they have yet to follow up and tell me exactly what they intend to do.  I have recently consulted a local attorney and they are in violation for this discrimination based on State Law and Civil Rights.  Unfortunately, it's going to cost me several thousand dollars upfront to pursue it, which honestly I don't have.  I don't know what to do.  This is to help not only me, to right a wrong but also to ensure nothing like this ever happens again!  We've lost too many trans people due to ignorance of this kind and I'm not going to stand for it.  I'm fighting.  Your support is appreciated.

Sincerely,

Katherine Sasha Mowen

VANIITY as Wonderella

I'm a long time fan of the wonderfully photogenic Vaniity HER SITE and because she is a huge Wonder Woman fan, i thought i would draw Vaniity as her own superheroine! Since Vaniity is one of the top TG super stars in porn, she deserves to be a heroine to change the world for good <3
