Johanna Saavedra is someone i see as a real-life superheroine. Her beauty is the first thing that you see, and you can't help but feel attracted, but then if you actually speaks to Johanna, you see a more intense beauty that is inside of her. Johanna's kindness in spirit and compassion is something that inspires me, making me want to draw her more and more. i've really taken to drawing her in the role of superheroines, and i think she deserves each sketch <3

I've been a big fan of the wonderfully gorgeous Vaniity, and honestly, she was the first Tgirl that really inspired me to start drawing them. When i found out that she was a big fan of the DC comics power-house, Wonder Woman, i couldn't resist not trying to draw Vaniity as "Wonder Vaniity"! I would say she is the protector of Vaniitopia, and the good-will ambassador for Tgirls and transgenders around the world.

As a kid growing up i loved reading Mad Magazine, but i found a special love for the older Mad Magazine parodies, especially the stuff drawn by the AMAZING Wally Wood. My fav's where Bat-boy, Superb-man, and Woman Wonder. After reading one of my all-time fav comic stories, The New Frontier, i was inspired to do this doodle of Woman Wonder in a similar style as Darwyn Cooke's WonderWoman from that comic story.

There are many people who would argue Wonder Woman's original costume is hokey, or perhaps even go so far as calling in "stupid", I admit, her high heels would be impossible to actually fight crime in, and if an amazon actually was going out into the world to fight evil, she would probably do it wearing something that covered more, and had more of an amour feel to it. But let's also remember that this classic costume was created in the shadow of World War 2. It was a time when national pride was at a height that we can't really imagine in this current era. People could argue we need a costume that reflects the current feelings of the nation. I would argue that is exactly what we don't need. Comics are a modern version mythology, we need characters that are bigger then life, and have costumes to match. I love the idea of seeing a character that literally screams "america" which is probably one reason I am a big fan of characters like Captain America and Wonder Woman. I know that in the future there will be small changes made to any super heroes costume, but I always hope that some parts of the classics will remain, so fanboys like myself will be able to recognize our favorites.
